The sixth series of Mad Men is nearly here (all cheer), and with it an increased interest in the stars of the show. From promotional photos, to magazine articles, I can once again indulge in obsessively reading about John Hamn and friends.
Take Christina Hendricks for example, who is looking as sensational as always in this months issue of Canadian Flare. There are few women today who are as envied for their femininity and yet, so loved. That being said, she has at times been criticised for her figure, and yet it is hard to see why, especially if these images are anything to go by. As someone who tires tirelessly to look as feminine as possible, I idolise Christiana, as much has her character Joan and her beauty has been captured perfectly in these photographs by Max Abadian – my particular favourite being the seventh image.
So as the day approaches till Don, Betty, Peggy and co, make an appearence on our tv screens I shall continue to trawl the internet for more fabulous images of the cast.

I know, it’s been a while. My blog, my tumblr, everything really, went into a sort of hibernation over the past few months. It’s no excuse but I have been beyond busy since starting uni, and summer, well, it was a blur. But with the new year officially in full swing I hope to continue where I last left off.
So thank you, see you soon xox

As I am off to uni in the September I have been trying to save my money. However I realised that most of my warmest clothing is actually my sisters (we share all our clothes), so I decided to invest my money into a jumper and cardigan from Topshop today.
The jumper I chose is particularly warm and the wool is so soft, which is great as I have quite sensitive skin. Whilst from a far it may look blue, there are greens and pinks also interwoven, all in beautiful pastel colours.

The cardigan I bought however it much more autumnal. It features an aztec print design, with burgundy as the main colour. In other words perfect for the colder seasons!

In celebration of the U.S. Open, Vogue has commissioned 13 custom-made tennis balls. The collection is by 12 designers’ and one ‘tennis legend’. From Pamela Love’s piercing arrow, to Maria Sharapova’s signature pout, all 13 balls are a treat for the eyes. In fact, one even resembles Wes Anderson, thanks to the team at Warby Parker, what’s not to love!
Here are my top three. To see the full set visit vogue!
Maria, who has recently launched her own candy line, has used the same out logo for her contribution to the collection. As well as producing these adorable mini tennis balls, which are 100% edible!
Rag & Bone adds baseball to the table, to create this one of a kind tennis ball.
Finally, being a lover of all things floral, this stands out as the clear winner.

As of today, Louise Gray launches her dazzling collection for Topshop. Whilst I must say from this point it is not my personal taste, I know a lot of people will go crazy for this zigzag sequin dress (below). Although it will set you back £200.
Alternatively you could stand out in the flash-burst sequin dress below. Again, it does not come cheap, but you will save £25, as this dress is only £175. The rest of the collection follows the same theme – sequins, sequins and more sequins.
If like me this is not to your taste, don’t write Louise Gray off completely. She has also released a make up line which is quite frankly delightful. I do like a glittery nail polish, and she hasn’t disappointed by creating a glossy glitter polish in ‘pink punch’, for £6.50. Which is only fractionally more expensive than the usual Topshop nail polishes at £5. If pink is not your thing, try similar products in blue and green! To view the full collection view here. Happy shopping.
